The doctor in me wishes him well.

He has been traveling around the country trying to help a man who lost an election usurp the will of 81 million Americans. In the process, he has been flouting all public health rules on how to not get and spread the virus.

And yet, due to who he is, he is going to get the best care in the world. He is already probably receiving antibody cocktails and remdesivir in a private suite in a top hospital. He is probably going to come out of all this unscathed.

Meanwhile there are colleagues who caught the virus on the job who did not and will not be so lucky.

Meanwhile, 2000–3000 unlucky Americans will die alone on each of the 14 days he might be in isolation.
