Dave found them about six months after he came out. He hoped they would still be together, and they were. Dave could not believe his luck when he discovered that the house opposite their’s was empty. He broke in one night and found that he had an unobstructed view of their living room from an upstairs window. When they were home, they spent a lot of time in the living room in front of the TV. Dave was arrested the week before Christmas at his mum’s house. He was 25. He was charged with murdering Big Ed. Two witnesses had seen him leave the house that night. Those two witnesses were sitting in the living room across the street. Greg, a former friend, and Dave’s then-girlfriend, Denise.
He could not believe it when he saw Denise on the witness stand.
Though the evidence was circumstantial, he was found guilty and sentenced to life… mainly based on Greg and Denise’s testimonies.
